We’ve grouped the questions into helpful sections, so it’s easier to find what you need without having to scroll through everything. Think of this as your shortcut to feeling more confident and getting the most out of your course.

Getting Started
You can browse all our products here: https://www.theorytestpractice.uk/shop. Once you’ve chosen the product your would like, click the button beneath the product and follow the steps to checkout.
After purchase, you’ll receive an email with access instructions and your login details.
Once you’ve logged in, you’ll land on your dashboard where you’ll see any courses or downloads you’ve purchased. Just click into the course to get started.
If you can’t see your course there, check the email address you used at checkout — and have a quick look in your spam/junk folder in case the confirmation email got filtered.
Our eBooks are available in both EPUB and PDF formats.
If you’re using the EPUB version, you’ll need an app that supports it:
- Apple Devices (iPhone/iPad): Use the built-in Apple Books app
- Android Phones/Tablets: Try free apps like Lithium or ReadEra
- Windows or Mac: Use apps like Calibre or Adobe Digital Editions
If you’re using the PDF version, it should open automatically in your default viewer (like Preview on Mac, or Adobe Reader on Windows).

Both are digital formats, but they work quite differently.
EPUB is an interactive, responsive format — the text adjusts to your screen size, you can change font size, and some versions include built-in features like quizzes or videos. It’s great for reading on mobile or tablets, but it does require a compatible app to open (like Apple Books, Lithium or Adobe Digital Editions).
PDF is a more universal format — it looks the same on every device, no matter what app you’re using. It’s easy to open on most phones, tablets and computers without installing anything extra. However, it’s more static and doesn’t include any interactive features.
So if you’re having trouble with the EPUB version, or just prefer something simpler, the PDF version might be easier to use.

You’ll be asked to enter your email address, and we’ll send you a link to reset it. If the email doesn’t show up within a few minutes, check your spam folder just in case.
About the Course
You’ll get a detailed eBook and a free online course. You’ll have step-by-step video lessons, licenced DVSA practice questions, mock tests, worksheets, and loads of tips to help you remember everything. It’s like having a friendly instructor at home with you!
We always use the most updated licenced DVSA practice questions. The DVSA provide practice questions; real questions in your actual theory test may be worded slightly differently. That’s why it’s best to learn about theory using an eBook and course.
Definitely. You’ll find full-length mock tests that look and feel just like the real thing. Great for building your confidence and checking your progress.
Apps test you – our eBooks and courses teach you. You’ll get clear explanations, memory tips, and support all the way through. They’re designed to make the theory make sense.
You’ll find worksheets (and the answer sheets!) in your eBook or alongside each topic in your course. Just click into the lesson, and they’ll be there waiting for you.
Not the main course – it’s all pre-recorded and ready for you to do in your own time, whenever it suits you. But… we do run some live sessions in the Facebook Community group, so you can still connect, ask questions and join in live if you want to.
For the best experience, please use Google Chrome or Firefox. The hazard perception clips do not currently work in Safari. If you’re on an iPhone or iPad, you may need to install and open the clips in the Chrome or Firefox app.
Devices & Access
Yes – you can use it on your phone, tablet, or computer. Learn wherever and whenever suits you best – on the sofa, in the car, or even in bed!
Nope – it’s not an app. The course is hosted online, so you can access it through your browser on a phone, tablet, or computer.
Time & Progress
Everyone’s different, and each course is different so it really depends on your pace. Most learners take anywhere from 5 days to 5 weeks to get through everything. Take your time – there’s no rush!
That’s totally up to you! And it depends on which one you choose.
- Complete Theory - Standard is designed to go through within 1-2 weeks.
- Compete Theory - Pro is designed to be completed in 2-5 weeks.
- Complete Theory - Premium is designed for anyone who wants to take time to learn for more that 6 weeks.
- Professional courses for ADI, LGV, PCV normally take 2-5 weeks
But you can go at your own pace. No pressure, no rush!
You’ll have lifetime access to your course and eBook. That means you can come back to it anytime – even if you want a refresher after you’ve passed your theory.
Your progress will only update when you click the “Mark Complete” button at the end of each lesson or topic. If you watch a video or read through the content but don’t click this button, the system won’t register it as complete, and your progress bar will stay the same.
Suitability & Confidence
If you're getting ready for a theory test – whether it’s your first go or you've tried before – the courses are made for you. They’re perfect for beginners or anyone who wants a confidence boost. Choose the one that sounds best for you.
Don’t worry – it happens, and you won’t be alone. You’ll still have full access to the eBook and course, and we can help you figure out what to focus on next time.
No one can guarantee a pass (we wish we could!) – but if you follow the course step-by-step, your chances of passing will go way up. Our eBooks and courses have helped thousands of learners feel confident and ready.
We don’t offer refunds based on your test results. But we’re here to support you every step of the way – and we’ll help you figure out what to focus on next if you need to re-sit.

We can move you over to a new course right here on this website. Just drop us an email with your proof of purchase and we’ll get you set up.
As soon as you’ve paid, you’ll be sent an email with a link to start your course. Can’t see it? Check your junk or spam folder – sometimes emails hide in there. Still no luck? Double-check you gave us the right email address.
You should’ve received a confirmation email when you signed up. If it’s missing:
- Check your junk/spam folder
- Make sure your email address was typed correctly
If you’re still stuck, send us an email with your full name, the course you bought, and the date you ordered – we’ll sort it out for you.
